Thanksgiving Break!!!

Gobble gobble.

Do you hear that?

Gobble gobble gobble gobble gobble gobble gobble gobble

Sounds like Thanksgiving!

Moooooooooooooooooooo

Ah, the fattened calf. That sounds like the prodigal son has returned.

But really, it's Thanksgiving on Thursday.

That's right.  It is that time of year for football, turkey, and pumpkin pie.

It is that time of year to give thanks for all that has been given to us, and for us to catch up with our families.

It's that time of year where Uncle Dave debates with Aunt Jemima about politics in an argument that will never end because neither of them are listening to what the other is saying.  Cousin Cletus eats all the cat food, the cat eats all the dog food, and the dog eats all of Cletus's food.  It's the circle of life. Your Great Aunt Bessie comes to pinch your cheeks to show how cute you are, but this year you have a luscious, black beard that is smoother than a babies bum (okay that is only singular to Andrew from the creative team...and he has no Great Aunt Bessie...shame).  The family comes together and plays in a Turkey bowl, but no one is good at football and the women drink lemonade and talk about the stock exchange.

Yes, Thanksgiving.  What a great time. Did you know that Eucharist means thanksgiving? Just saying.

What are you thankful for?
